The first Stockholm Prize in Criminology was awarded in 2006. So far the following scholars have received the prize: The next symposium and award ceremony will take place in Stockholm, and also as virtual events, in June 2021, focusing on the award-winning research by Philip J. Cook and Franklin E. Zimring (USA), announced in November 2019. The Stockholm Criminology Symposium and Prize Ceremony 2022 will be devoted to prize winners for the years 2021 and 2022.
